Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, and implement complex cloud solutions on the AWS platform, including infrastructure, application, and data layers.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform thorough assessments of existing infrastructure and identify opportunities for optimization and migration to the cloud.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and operational procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and industry trends.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences, sharing insights and expertise on AWS technologies and best practices.

Expectations

  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Extensive knowledge of AWS services with a successful project history
  • AWS Professional / Specialty level certification - highly preferable
  • AWS Associate level certification - required
  • Experience in code development in at least one high-level programming language (Python/ Java/ TypeScript)
  • Deep understanding of the Linux operating system and networking concepts
  • Experience building scalable infrastructure in AWS
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Well-Architected Framework and best practices
  • Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, SAM, CDK, ...)
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Broad knowledge of GitOps
  • A University degree in a relevant field is a plus
  • Eligible to live/work in the EU
  • Fluent in English is a must; Another European language is preferred

About the Role

As a BDR at Stormit, you'll be on the front lines, connecting with potential clients and introducing them to the transformative power of AWS and Stormit's expertise. You'll be a key player in generating new business opportunities through proactive outreach and engagement. This means identifying and qualifying leads, building relationships, and setting up meetings for our sales team. What You'll Do

  • Hunt down and research potential clients who could benefit from Stormit's AWS expertise.
  • Generate leads through a variety of channels – think cold calling, email, social selling (LinkedIn is your playground), and networking (conferences, meetups, etc.).
  • Qualify leads like a pro, understanding their business challenges and how Stormit's solutions can help them achieve their goals.
  • Nurture those leads and build genuine connections through personalized communication, showcasing your understanding of the cloud landscape.
  • Book qualified meetings for the sales team – you're the gatekeeper!
  • Keep our CRM squeaky clean and up-to-date with all your activity.
  • Stay on top of industry trends, AWS updates, and what our competitors are up to.
  • Team up with sales and marketing, and AWS teams to refine our strategies and supercharge lead generation.

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar BDR or sales role – you've been there, done that.
  • A proven track record of hitting lead-generation targets and booking meetings.
  • Experience in the tech, SaaS, or cloud industry is a major plus. Bonus points for AWS experience!
  • Killer communication and interpersonal skills – you can talk to anyone, from a C-level executive to a technical lead.
  • Professional level of English – you're fluent.
  • Communicative level of German or Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience using HubSpot is a plus.
  • Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail – no loose ends.
  • Ability to work independently and crush it as part of a team – you're a team player.
  • A can-do attitude and a passion for closing deals – you're a closer.
  • Interested in self-development and learning.
  • Eligible to work and live in the European Union.
