StormIT Achieves AWS Service Delivery Designation for AWS WAF
StormIT is excited to announce that we have received AWS Web Application Firewall (WAF) Service Delivery designation. This means that the StormIT team has the expertise in implementing AWS WAF to keep your web applications secure from attacks on the application layer of the OSI model. AWS WAF is an integral part of protecting our customers’ applications.
What does the AWS WAF Service Delivery designation mean for our customers?
The AWS Service Delivery Program enables AWS customers to identify AWS Partners with experience and a deep understanding of specific AWS services. Specifically, AWS WAF Delivery Partners are AWS Partners who implement AWS WAF to protect web applications from common web exploits that could compromise security, affect application availability, or result in the consumption of excessive resources.
By working with an AWS WAF Delivery Partner like StormIT you can increase the security of your web applications and create custom rules to block common attack patterns like SQL injection or cross-site scripting.
What is AWS WAF?
AWS WAF is an application layer firewall that blocks attacks and suspicious requests at Level 7 of the ISO/OSI model. It stops hackers from disguising malicious traffic as normal requests. AWS WAF also has custom rules against bad IPs, unexpected geographies, etc. that are disguised as good traffic.
